WE FIGHT FOR YOU.

CORPORATIONS PAY.

Are you struggling with faulty products, misleading ads, or other unfair business practices? California law is on your side. While no attorney can guarantee a win, you could receive refunds, enforce company promises, or gain additional damages for misconduct. As tough former organized crime prosecutors, we’re committed to defending California consumers at no cost to you. If we win, the offending business covers your legal fees, so you face no financial burden. Litigation is tough—paying for it shouldn’t be.

ABOUT US

We’re Stephen and Lisa. Both admitted to practice law in 2005, we have almost 40 years of combined legal experience. We’re also both former prosecutors who previously battled organized crime. Now we fight for consumers in California and Indiana.

During our 10 combined years of experience in consumer protection litigation, we’ve found that taking on big companies isn’t that different.

We understand the challenges and frustrations that you face. We’re ready to fight for you.

We handle a wide range of consumer protection cases related to goods and services, but we are particularly adept at cases involving cars, trucks, SUVs, vans and motorhomes.

If you have been hurt by fraud, deceptive sales practices, mechanical failures, recalls, safety concerns, or refusals to provide repair services, contact us for a free consultation and case review.

Each of the consumer protection statutes that we use makes the wrongdoer pay your legal fees and costs as long as you win. If we take your case, we will cover the fees and costs necessary to pursue your claims, seeking reimbursement from the defendants at the end of your case.

California has strong consumer protection laws.

Most of our cases include some combination of California’s Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, Consumers Legal Remedies Act, Unfair Competition Law and False Advertising Law.

Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act

California’s lemon law, properly known as the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, applies to any new good, and even some used goods, purchased or leased in California. It protects consumers when manufacturers or sellers breach their warranties or fail to comply with duties imposed by law. The law may allow you to return any product, even something as expensive as a car or RV, for a refund. The law also requires the manufacturer or seller to pay the consumer’s litigation expenses as long as the consumer wins.

Consumers Legal Remedies Act

California’s Consumers Legal Remedies Act prohibits businesses from engaging in a wide range of deceptive, abusive and predatory conduct. When corporations violate the law, it may allow a consumer to get their money back. The law can tack on extra penalties if the business conduct is malicious, oppressive or fraudulent of if the mistreated consumer is a senior citizen or disabled. Crucially, this law makes the abusive business pay the consumer’s litigation expenses as long as the consumer wins.
