On March 20, 2024, Kia America recalled all 2020 to 2023 Tellurides, as well as some 2024 Tellurides, because the electronic parking brake may not function as intended, allowing the vehicles to roll away either when in park with the ignition off, or in any gear when the driver’s door is open.
Kia doesn’t plan to notify dealers until May 13, 2024.
Kia won’t begin notifying owners until May 15, 2024.
For many recalls, solutions aren’t available for months after consumer notifications.
Under California law, you don’t have to wait for Kia to take action.
